Saturday, April 5, 10:30 a.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: The North Collin County Genealogical Society will be in the Genealogy Area of the Library to offer assistance. Whether it's a Brick Wall you've hit, don't know how to get started, or are just interested in meeting with others with a similar interest come visit with Society members! You don't have to have ancestors from Collin County or even Texas to take advantage of this FREE service.

Thursday, April 9, 6:45 p.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: The North Collin County Genealogical Society will host Dr. Sam Tullock.  Dr. Tullock has taught history at the Collin College since 1990 and has lectured at UT Dallas since 1998.  His topic will be Early Religious Life in Collin County as related to the Peter's Colony.  This program is FREE.  You do not have to be a member of the Society to come and enjoy this program.

Sunday, April 26, 2:00 p.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: The Genealogy Department of the Library will have a program on Navigating the New HeritageQuestLearn what’s new in the HeritageQuest Online Database.  With HeritageQuest, you can search Census Records, Books and Directories, Revolutionary War Pension Files, Freedman’s Bank, and more.  This is a free program, open to all.  No registration is required.  You may bring your laptop, tablet, etc. to follow along if you’d like.  For more information, contact Susan Kusterbeck at 972.547.7343 or skusterbeck@mckinneytexas.org
