to Genealogy and don't know where to turn to find information on your ancestors
or you've been researching your family for years and have hit a block, the
Society members are here to help you. They are donating their time for
free, so take advantage of this opportunity. You do not have to be a
member of the Society or have ancestors in Collin County or Texas.

The North Collin County Genealogical Society will host Collin County Clerk, Ms. Stacey Kemp. Ms. Kemp will show us how to use Court House Records more efficiently. The Collin County Clerk's office has a Genealogy Corner in which you will be able to find birth, death, and marriage indexes, school censuses and much more. Even if you are not searching for Collin county relatives, the information provided will help you in searching other County Clerk offices. This event is free and open to all. You do not have to be a member of the Society to attend.
Wednesday, October 14, 7:00 p.m. at the Haggard Library - 2501 Coit Rd, Plano: The Collin county Genealogical Society presents Glenn Kinkade. Mr. Kinkade will be discussing "Research in Colonial New England". This program is free and open to all.
