Louisiana Family Maps and Upcoming Events

Are you looking for information on early settlers in Louisiana?  If so, we have received the Family Maps series of Land Patent Books for the following parishes:
  • Bossier Parish
  • Caddo Parish
  • Claiborne Parish
  • Lincoln Parish
  • Ouachita Parish
  • Red River Parish
  • Tangipahoa Parish
  • Vernon Parish
  • Winn Parish
With these books you can locate your ancestor's Federal land purchase by simply finding them in one of the indexes, which direct you to a map of first-land-owners.  They are a helpful reference tool that make landowner and parcel-boundary research easy.
