Wednesday, April 10 7:00 pm at the Haggard Public Library 2501 Coit Rd, Plano: The Collin County Genealogical Society will host a free program by Dr. Richard McCaslin.  Dr. McCaslin will speak about "Texas in the Civil War".  All are welcome to come to this program.

Thursday, April 11 6:45 pm at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: The North Collin County Genealogical Society will host a free program by Mic Barnett.  Mr. Barnett will speak about "The 1867 Voters Registrations in the Reconstruction South: Who Could Register, Who Could Not and Their Usefulness to Researchers".  All are welcome to come to this program.

Saturday, April 20 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Haggard Public Library 2501 Coit Rd, Plano: Genealogy Friends of Plano Libraries, Inc. will present a free program “Beyond Genealogy to Life Story: Approaches to Organizing and Creating Life Stories, Memoirs and Family Histories". The speaker will be David Coy.  All are welcome to come to this program.

Saturday, May 11 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: Spread the word to your family and friends who are interested in getting started in their Genealogy quest.  We will be having a Genealogy 101 program.  This free program will cover the basics of Genealogy.
