Upcoming Area Events:


Wednesday, February 12 7:00 p.m. at the Haggard Public Library 2501 Coit Rd. Plano.  The Collin County Genealogical Society will host Jane Power.  Ms. Power will speak on "Footprints in the Orchard".  This program is free and open to all.

Thursday, February 13 6:45 p.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney.  The North Collin County Genealogical Society will host Ted Wright.  Mr. Wright will present Dousing For Graves!” A short, introductory class and demonstration on how to locate graves that are unmarked.  Mr. Wright is President of the Collin County Historical Society, has spent over 40 years exploring North Texas history and researching graveyards. He has specifically focused the last 15 years dousing for unmarked burials in Collin County.  This program is free and open to all.

Save the Date! April 26 10:30 a.m. Lynell Moss will be presenting a program on FamilySearch at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library.  She will be informing us of how to use FamilySearch and the exciting updates.
