Saturday, September 6, 10:30 a.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library's Genealogy Area - 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: Members of the North Collin County Genealogical Society will assist you in Starting Your Quest for Your Ancestors and/or Breaking Through Those Brick Walls.  Whether it's a Brick Wall, you're new to Genealogy and don't know how to get started, or just interested in meeting with others with a similar interest, a member of the NCCGS will be at the Library to assist you.  You don't have to have ancestors from Collin County or Texas to take advantage of this FREE opportunity.

Thursday, September 11, 6:45 - 8:30 p.m. in the Dulaney Room of the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library -  101 East Hunt Street, McKinney:  The North Collin County Genealogical Society will host Mrs. Lynell Moss.  Ms Moss will be discussing Proven Research Strategies.   Mrs. Moss has researched in archives, court houses, libraries and even the Chamber of Commerce in several states, National Archives, Library of Congress, as well as the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.  This program will give you insight on ways to find your ancestors.  This event is FREE and open to all.  You do not need to be a member to attend this meeting.
