Saturday, March 7, 10:30 a.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: The North Collin County Genealogical Society will be in the Genealogy Area of the Library to offer assistance. Whether it's a Brick Wall you've hit, don't know how to get started, or are just interested in meeting with others with a similar interest come visit with Society members! You don't have to have ancestors from Collin County or even Texas to take advantage of this FREE service.

Thursday, March 12, 6:45 p.m. at the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library 101 East Hunt Street, McKinney: The North Collin County Genealogical Society will host Gwen Neumann.  She will talk about Martha Washington, her life with George and her involvement with the Revolution.  this event is FREE and open to all.

Starting Friday, March 13, 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Collin County Historical Society and Museum 300 East Virginia Street, McKinney.  The Historical Society and Museum presents The Vietnam Syndrome.  This exhibit includes war related artifacts on loan from local veterans and items related to the 1960's.  This exhibit will be open Thursdays - Saturdays 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  For more information, go to http://collincountyhistoricalsociety.org/?doing_wp_cron=1352322781.3650829792022705078125 or call 972-542-9457

Monday, March 23 1:00 p.m. at the Allen Senior Recreation Center 451 St. Mary Drive, Allen: The Allen Seniors Genealogy Club will host Lisa Louise Cooke. Ms. Cooke will present "How to Reopen and Work a Genealogical Cold Case". All are welcome. You do not have to be a member of the ASRC to attend this meeting. There is a $5.00 fee to help defray the costs of Ms. Cooke's expenses.
