The Family History Center

The Family History Center:
Have you been to the Family History Center? There is one here in McKinney at 2801 West Eldorado Parkway. The Family History Center is a facility of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Family History Center can provide access to most of the microfilms and microfiche in the family History Library to help you identify your ancestors.
We have received a DVD of the 2010 NGS Conference Keynote Address. A Celebration of Family History includes talks by author David McCullough and President Henry B. Eyring of the First Presidency of the Church of the Latter-day Saints. The program includes music by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra and several video presentations. This DVD may be checked.

Upcoming Program at Haggard Library in Plano:
Scallywags, Rogues, and Ruffs: All Those Ancestors We Don’t Talk About will be presented by Kelvin L. Meyers on Wednesday, April 13th at 7:00 pm. This is a free program for all given by the Collin County Genealogical Society.
