The Heard Legacy and Upcoming Area Events

We have acquired the book: The Heard Legacy by Cathy Sagnibene Apple.  This book covers generations of this philanthropic family.  It starts with the brothers, John Spencer and Stephen Dudly, and moves through the generations to include Katherine (Katie) Florence Heard Craig and Bessie Rollins Heard.  We have two copies of this book - one of which may be checked out.

The next blog with our New Titles for October will be a little late.  November 1 - 3, I will be attending the Texas State Genealogical Society Conference.  Hope to see you there! - Susan
